"I strongly believe that the health and vibrancy of U.S. communities are dependent upon members’ participation in electing leaders committed to altruistic service. As a young woman and a college student, I am passionate about voting because I recognize the importance of the youth vote. I am cognizant of the many issues, such as college debt and climate change, that will continue to affect us in the future if not dealt with appropriately in the present through the intercession of strong leadership. Exercising one’s right to vote is a way to actively combat these issues and work toward positive change. "
