Mission Statement
Vote Z is a nonpartisan organization working to change the culture around voting amongst Generation Z by registering voters, facilitating dialogue on civic action, and promoting engagement with the democratic process.

Why we fight!
For decades voter turnout among young Americans has been significantly lower than older voters. But now, this generation is challenging the norm: in 2018 youth turnout was the highest ever recorded for a midterm election and in 2020 Gen Z will make up one-tenth of the 2020 electorate. Our government should be a reflection of American society, yet this is not possible if citizens fail to exercise their right to vote. Our generation has the opportunity to have a substantial impact on our democracy by becoming a generation of informed and active voters. This way, our government finds its authorship within the people and will lead to a fairer, just, transparent, and more representative American democracy.
